It’s In The Details

Bernadette and Will’s Small NYC Intimate Wedding encapsulated everything I love about Intimate weddings. The intention, the personal touches on the details, the sick dance moves, and the love that overflowed the venue. Everything about the day was special and definitely a day/party I’ll never forget!

A pile of napkins with fun facts printed on them.

Life is serendipitous in the way certain things work out. Bern and Will were initially going to have a backyard wedding…but then they were able to book their favorite/go-to brewery as their venue! With the help of Chloe from Barrio Letterpress they created the cutest beer can shaped invitations!

Bern walked down the aisle to Lauryn Hill’s “Too Good To Be True”….a timeless gem. But what I loved even more than their taste of music was seeing how STOKED all of their guests were to see them get married. THAT’S what I wish every couple will experience on their wedding day. ❤️❤️

Is it a true NYC Intimate Wedding without pizza?? Not ONLY did Bern and Will have a pizza truck cater their wedding, they also had charcuterie as small bites and a coffee cart by 2nd Rule Coffee Co. These two are definitely my kind of people in more ways than I can count!

Intimate weddings are all about doing the traditions that feel right for you and your partner. Some couples just want couple portraits and an intimate dinner. Other couples want to do an intimate dinner and also prioritize dancing the night away! As I explain on my website…it’s all about creating your perfect day…whatever that may look like!

Intimate Wedding Photo Tip

A side photography related note: Instead of having couples right next to the speech-giver….place them in the middle of their guests (if possible). These photos feel symbolic of the love they were surrounded by that day…and they get to see their guests reactions. It’s my new favorite way to set up couples who are doing a small NYC Intimate wedding.
